Websites are your charity’s window to the world. Get it right and you can drive traffic to your website, get your message over and attract new supporters. However, planning a new website is a complex task and there’s a lot to consider.
I presented this webinar on behalf of London Advice Services Alliance in 2015. In the webinar I outline what to think about when developing a new website, best practices, integrating with social media like Twitter and Facebook, and finding and commissioning the right web designer. It covers:
- planning a new website;
- writing a project brief;
- how to find a good web developer;
- what constitutes good, accessible web design;
- which content management system (CMS) you should choose;
- integrating new media like Facebook and Twitter into your non-profit’s website.
The LASA webinar has become an annual tradition and I’ll be presenting another one in February 2016, this time about WordPress for non-profit organisations.
